Which ones do you recognise as a strength of yours, or that stand out to you? As we steward and flow in the grace God has given us, we can experience a greater capacity to flow and use the gifts God has given us.

“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1 NKJV

Did you know that spiritual gifts is something we are to desire? God wants us to seek the Giver, not the gifts; but there is a desiring of gifts God wants us to possess, and that desire is not wronghave for who He has uniquely designed us to be, and to represent an aspect of His heart and character that only we can portray.

Romans 12:3 NKJV

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us  use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let  us  use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

All the various spiritual gifts should bring the Body of Christ together in unity. It is the same Holy Spirit working in each of us with our different gifts and abilities. This enables us to bring one another our strengths to build each other up, not to tear down or divide.

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit”. 1 Corinthians 12:4 NKJV
